Dr. Jessica Roberts is a 2014 graduate of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. Before veterinary school, she worked for four years at a veterinary emergency hospital in Joplin, MO serving as lead technician and office manager. Her medical interests include soft tissue surgery, emergency medicine, and shelter/rescue medicine.
Dr. Roberts has many pets including three rescue dogs (Bella, Richard, and Ember), two cats (Prim and a three legged cat named Tiga), three snakes (Gamora, Jupiter and Nebula), and an Amazon Parrott named Yoshi. Dr. Roberts also has three kids named Tatum, Piper, and Lincoln and in her free time she loves spending time with her family. This usually includes chasing soccer all over the Midwest! She also loves fostering for local rescue/shelters.

Dr. Bierbaum has been practicing for 24 years after graduating from LSU, he is one of our four owners and joined us in 2021 at Boulevard! He has been in the central Arkansas area for all his career. In his free time, he loves running, cycling, and sneaking Popeyes fried chicken. He has two cats, Simon and Leo along with a precious dog named Ted. His favorite part of veterinary medicine is performing preventative surgeries at shelters and low-cost clinics. He also loves coming in on his day off and bringing random pieces of furniture to annoy our OCD Practice Manager Lauren.

Lauren has been with us at The Boulevard Veterinary Clinic since we opened in 2012, starting as a veterinary assistant. She has been in the veterinary field since she was 14years old, and there is nothing she would rather do! She has A LOT of dogs ( all rescues), 1 cat, 1 bearded dragon, 2 snakes…and a precious little human child named Harlow! She truly loves animals and they have been a huge part of her life since childhood. In her spare time she is the Director of a non-profit rescue, Rescue Road. Lauren loves dog rescue, plants, gardening and being a mom!

I’ve been a member of the team at Boulevard for three years now and I absolutely love it! Currently we have 1 cat but if my son has his way that number will increase soon. When I’m not at work I enjoy playing video games, DnD and watching movies with my husband and 2 kids.

I have worked for The Boulevard for 3 years now. My favorite part about working here is the family that my coworkers have become as well as all of our amazing clients and patients who make it all worth it. I have 3 cats, 2 dogs, and 2 reptiles with my fiancé. I love playing video games and cross stitching! I am a goofball at heart and enjoy puns, except cat puns… those freak meowt. I love making people laugh and enjoy learning about history.

Shawna has been with us since early 2021 and she runs the boarding area, she has been in veterinary medicine since 2014. She loves spending time at home with ALL her pets when she is not here loving on everyone else babies! She has four dogs (Sawyer, Garvan, Aloe & Spanky), three cats ( Faber, Kitty Purry, and Stella), two bearded dragons ( Jasmin, and Roxanne), 2 leopard geckos ( Star, and Yungi) and last but not least a scorpion named Goth Lobster!

I was born and reared in North Little Rock, Arkansas. I currently reside in Sherwood with my quick witted, eleven year old son Miles. I grew up in a vet clinic and have always possessed a passion for helping animals. I have worked as a veterinary technician in Central Arkansas for over 25 years! I am excited to meet and love your animals!

Samantha has been in the veterinary field for 8+ years, and truly finds it her passion in life. She’s currently attending the Penn Foster program to pursue her certified veterinary technician’s license. She is joined in love at home with four dogs, one cat, and three snakes!

Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona I always knew I was meant to work with animals. As soon as I was able I volunteered with shelters and rescues, mainly raising orphaned kittens. After giving human medicine a try I realized my passion was where I wanted my career. I went to school to become a veterinary technician!
I thrive in emergency and critical care but love being able to follow patients and their people through their pet’s lives so I have recently joined the Boulevard to do just that.

Meet Mimi Karen ( black/White) & Waffles ( Tabby)!
Mimi is a rescue from the Bryant Animal Control, and she is a munchkin cat! She loves eating.. often…but her most favorite thing is our lunchtime, when she crawls up into whomever lap that will let her so she can get a snack!
Waffles was a stray kitten that our neighbors at Waffle House found, what an original name.. we know! She loves spending time helping the kennel assistants fold laundry, and is always right on schedule to start begging for dinner at 4:00pm!
